I’ve been to Wal*Mart and purchased that clear acrylic thing with metal balls. I have no idea where the hell it is now, most likely trashed because I never used it. The plastic versions just *look* cheap and never do what they are supposed to do. I might as well have purchased a toy car and used its wheels to trace with over our skin. (Actually, that sounds like fun haha.)
Just like a warm stone or cold stone massage, the Contour M is also able to be chilled or heated up. I suggest putting a Pyrex bowl of water in the microwave and heat it up for a few minutes, then put your M in the warm water to let the porcelain pick up the heat. (I am just paranoid and I wouldn’t want anything to happen to it, such as cracking.) To chill, you can just put it in the fridge for a while or get a bowl of water to set in the fridge for coolness. Because of the nature of the material, it is best not to go from heat to cold or vice versa. Unless you want to give a killer massage…lol.

Modes of travel : The porcelain is very smooth, naturally cool and easy to hold with the roundest part in your palm. (It’s contoured. *wink*) So, because our bodies may choose to heat up during massage or at the slightest touch of yourself or your lover, your M may not glide so smoothly. (I’m talking naked-style, here.) A few choices of lubrication could be *water in a Jacuzzi, bath time fun, shower spoilage, sprawled out on bed with oils or lotion application. On the other hand, you can be fully clothed and enjoy this just as much. The Contour M will glide very well over your clothing and you don’t need to add a lot of pressure to make up for the thread-barrier. I must say, Roylin (@KamaSutraCloset on twitter ), tried one of the JimmyJane contour stones on me and she’s a natural. (And yes, we were clothed! Lol) So, really, these pieces are meant for anyone to pick them up and apply them in the way they want them to be used and enjoyed.
I will admit, I was a little intimidated to begin with because massages aren’t my thing. I am not great at them, and I don’t give or receive them nearly as much as I should. This is exactly why the Contour M is so special. I CAN DO IT! And so can my husband. He loves the feeling of it being pressed into his scalp and tracing his head. I quote: “It feels so good that I could just shit the bed.” … wtf? I tried asking about WHY shitting the bed would be an amazing feeling but all he could do was smile, laugh, continue and said “it’s just that good!”…lol. So, we will just discount his words and go with the pleasure of his head being massaged. Personally, I loved the feeling of it tracing my back, it feels great because you can feel the four pressure points on the bottom of the tool and they are perfectly sized and designed. You can also turn the M over and use the one big round side, but to me, it wasn’t as much fun. =)
