Pretty Talk: Crystal Delights for a Cause

As you’ve seen, the beautiful Crystal Delights Plugs continue to grow an amaze.

This time, the sexy glass and Swarovski Crystals aren’t here to please just us. It gets bigger and better. The pale pink glass, flawlessly shaped into an awesome plug, adorned with an enormous, genuine Swarovski crystal is here for a cause. The pale pink is synonymous with the cause to support breast cancer awareness and to help with prevention. All of this pink merchandise in our economy is not just to help us contribute to the research and development; it’s also here to make us aware. You may think that our purchases are there to help out in the general population and latest developments, but it’s made me think, lately.

I believe that the whole “think pink” is here to help us understand that it is more widespread than we understand. Maybe if you’re middle-aged and you’re driving behind a pink magnetic ribbon on the back of a minivan, you can take the sighting a bit further and think “when was the last time I had a mammogram?” Even self examinations are going to make a world of difference when it comes to your personal health. You’ve seen the campaigns; you’ve heard your doctor remind you to check your breasts. Maybe you even have routine check-ups to make sure that everything is in line. If so, great for you. The statistics show that one in eight women will have a lifetime risk of developing breast cancer. Those chances have become scarier since just the 1970s.

Just recently, a very strong woman in my life, my friend of 20 years, her mother, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a lump, a biopsy was done, and I believe that the cancer grew and just recently she had it all taken out. She had to undergo radiation and now we have to wait six months, just to be sure that all is going to be well, for now on. I’m glad that she caught it when she did. So, as you can see, it’s not very far from us, personally. I told my friend that the Crystal Delights line is doing a “Colors Against Cancer” Campaign and she got really excited. She wants to take part in this.

You may even just love the plug for what it is…beautiful, classy and edgy. So be it, get your plug, and be excited that you got the latest and greatest. But also know that you have contributed to something very big. I have to tell you, from my experience with the new Pink Plug, that it’s awesome. It’s a new, shorter design, with the same huge crystal that has been treated in two different countries before it made it into your bedroom…Lots of care and effort has gone into each handmade piece and that’s why the Crystal Delights plugs are different from the rest. (No molds, air bubbles and no bad craftsmanship here.)

So, I must say, thank you to all of the people that have taken the time to read this article, hopefully I’ve given some insight, maybe reminded a lady or two to check their bodies, and sent some pink inspiration your way.
