I know that I haven’t exactly expressed this before, but I’ve been meaning to. I love crystals, I love nature, I love stones, and of course, solid dildos. This is a very sweet union of a few passions of mine. Introducing – Laid D1.
The company is Laid and the dildo is called D1. It’s made of black moonstone from Norway. This is a common material used in expensive lapidary projects, but it’s not a lame stone, either. Yeah, maybe you can afford a countertop made of this stuff, but you will find sparkling pendants of it, also. It goes by other names, such as Larvikite, Blue Pearl Granite, and the others that I’ve already mentioned. What makes it so special? Maybe you are psychically aware of the different properties that stones hold. This one in particular is associated with the root chakra *ironically, that’s your sexual center and it’s on your tailbone – oOOohh yeah.* If you aren’t into that kind of thing, maybe you can appreciate this stone dildo for its sparkle, shine, and beauty. Let’s talk about that for a second!
Okay, so when a natural stone shows some curious qualities, it’s called phenomena. The phenomenon that occurs in black moonstone is called Labradorescence. Basically, this means that the light hits the stone and it diffuses slightly after flashing upon those thin plates or inclusions. And you can see what I am talking about in the video and the photos. The technical cause is due to the result of repeated twinning in the crystal structure. I only know this because I am referring back to my Gemology notes, which, nerd-ily, are in my desk drawer and have been for a few years. Another phenomenon is that of Adularescence, which occurs in the Rainbow Moonstone pendant that I’m showing you. It’s a billowing light that emanates from within the stone. As my note card states – that is due to the diffusion of light from minute concentrations of another feldspar of a slightly different refractive index from the main mass. (Basically, other properties included in the stone, with a very slight difference in makeup, are reacting to the way the light enters the stone.) You look at it one way, and you may see right through it. You turn it another way and the light will give you adularescence, or in my case, a blue glow.
In my sex-science-gemologist conclusion; the next best thing would be an actual Rainbow Moonstone dildo. Do I see that happening…not without a huge price tag and the perfect chunk of rock. Thank goodness for Laid! They’ve made parts of my dreams come true with a sexy stone dildo that is affordable for women who want to vaginally stimulate themselves with some gems! Sexually, I prefer this one in just one particular way. Although, it’s made to be used as a dual-ended dildo and for you to have variation. For some reason, I’ve fallen in love with the curve that leads the thicker end into the g-spot. I don’t care for the pointy side, I guess, because it’s tapered, I don’t get much stimulation from it so I just switch back to the bulbous side. Another reason, I may be crazy, but I feel that the curve is better when I use it my preferred way, also. It seems so slight, that maybe you wouldn’t even feel that curve, but I was wrong. It’s really got a hook to it! And I appreciate it for that. Part of my belief in that curve is due to the fact that it’s a rock-hard dildo. It’s not going to manipulate itself to conform to your body, so you move it to fit within yourself. Because of that, I really enjoy that hard, yet subtle curve and the thicker side of this dildo. If you rock it up and down, it curves right into your vaginal wall, where it awakens your g-spot. Then, when you’ve swelled up that area, you just thrust lightly and grow it some more. Then you can take it into overdrive if you’d like. You can be as hardcore as you like. As for myself, I totally *rocked* (wow, double pun) that thing while I had Mimi on my clit and I enjoyed the contractions of my orgasm on the cool stone dildo. Eventually it warms up to body temperature, or you can drop it into some hot or cold water to get it to the way you like before use.
All-in-all, it’s got a surprising curve, I like to use the one end, it’s a pretty basic shape but it’s totally beautiful.
