I guess that the Jimmyjane Form 4 completes the series of “Pleasure to the People”. This series was designed conjointly between Ethan Imboden (Head of Jimmyjane) and Yves Béhar, a fellow designer. I am sad that there won’t be any excitement about a form 1 or a form 5. Maybe there will be a new series to look forward to? If I get any word, I will be sure to let you know.
Why do I like Ethan and Yves’ partnership on the sexual frontier? They’ve managed to create toys that haven’t been done before. Being in the adult novelty business, we’ve all seen many versions of the same thing, done over and over again. I would like to give a nice little *thumbs up* to these guys for putting their noggins together and coming up with some cool products that are able to withstand the elements, harness the power and remain eco.
In all honesty, I was just as eager to see what Form 4 was designed for and what it looked like, just as I was excited about the other Forms. But I was less excited when I saw the shape. I’m sure everyone was. In reality, I’m sure that Jimmyjane wanted to create a staple. Just like other toy brands do – they make the one thing, for the internal purpose and maybe later, they revisit it. But they need to start somewhere. That is where Form 4 comes in. It’s an internal toy that can be used externally as well. It’s made to be flexible (although it’s hard to flex!) and has great power output. It’s wireless and rechargeable and it carries the same hefty price tag as the other Forms. Now…being a great product, why would people be so down? Well, we’ve come to expect so much from Jimmyjane, the “wow factor” is what we seek when they reveal their products. For once, they’ve hit a middle ground. This doesn’t project the brand out into the “wow, how does that thing work?” or “okay…that’s been done before, but this is their take”…It’s more like – Well, I guess the brand needed a silicone vibe that could be used internally and holds the same quality as the rest of the Jimmyjane products. Nothing controversial, nothing spectacular…just a nice product. I will tell you, though, I was hoping for a dual-stimulation toy from these guys! I’d like to see what design Jimmyjane would present for their take on a dual purpose product. If they applied their design skills with their lithium-ion batteries and dual motors, rechargeable, waterproof…I’m sure we would have another “wow factor” on our hands. Alas, perhaps it’s in the making.
Form 4, it’s short, bulbous and gets to the point. Now, there isn’t a major design factor here, in terms of internal stimulation through form. There are no textures, no ridges, no pronounced curves or edges. You’re basically looking at a short vibrator that will penetrate for a few inches or so, expel a good amount of power and awaken your g-spot. I say “awaken your g-spot” because I mean that it will prepare you for orgasm if it’s power that you seek. If you know, through experience, that you need some nice rumbles and thuds to get you off, internally, then you may take a liking to the Form 4. Your g-spot can be between 2-4 inches (deep) inside of your vagina. We are all different. So it won’t take much length to get you there. That’s probably why the Form 4 is so short; it’s about 4” in length. It wasn’t meant to be a rocket.
In my experience, I need the textures, I need the curves, I need the dual stimulation, and I need the adventure. I like toys that hook inside of you, because once they’ve massaged your vaginal wall, that hook ends up giving some crazy orgasms as it curves over your pronounced g-spot. Unfortunately, the Form 4 couldn’t do that for me. On the other hand, it did prove to be one of the most powerful internal vibes that I’ve come across. I also tried to use it as a clitoral vibe, to see how it would compare with the Form 2 and Form 3, but it didn’t compare clitorally. In my opinion, that is due to the shape of the head of the Form 4. The other toys were expressed shapes to stimulate clitorally, while the Form 4 could just possibly be used there as well. I still believe that Form 2 is my favorite in the series. Form 3 was fun, but kind of odd. Form 4 is powerful, but basic. Form 2, great power, great precision and it has a unique design and it gives your clit some adventure.
Rundown, Form 4 has the motor in the tip of the vibe, in the rounded head, it’s short enough to be a g-spot targeter and it has the power to impress. There are 4 vibrational patterns and 5 levels of power. The buttons are super easy to use; it’s intuitive in the way that you just know how to use them. Up, down, change mode. Easy! The fact that it’s waterproof and rechargeable sets it apart from most other internal vibrators. If you’re used to using rockets, or sleek and thin internal vibes, this may be a step up and away from your norm, giving you the sense of adventure. Something new and crazy to try. I think the tip of Form 4 is around 1.5-1.6” in diameter, with the widest point being 2”, which is near the base. So you’re not transforming into a power queen by trying this vibrator out. If you’re into the types of feelings that you get from the Octopussy or the Ophoria Beyond 1, then Form 4 wouldn’t be a good match. Just think about what you like internally, and you’ll know if this one is for you. In closing, I have to tell you that I love Form 2. Because of the power, because of the cute clit-touchers. Because of everything. Form 4 is still nice, it’s a nice break from the crazy things that I put in my vagina and it’s a smooth ride. It’s a staple, a classic. It’s a Jimmyjane signature internal vibe.
